Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Next Gen Creations complies with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure is not major.

Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights. The remedies described below apply in addition to, and not instead of, your rights under the ACL.

Change of Mind and Custom Orders

All windows and doors supplied by Next Gen Creations are custom-made to your specifications and cannot be resold. For this reason, orders are non‑refundable once manufacturing has commenced, except where required by law.

If you request a change or cancellation before manufacturing starts, we will assess feasibility case‑by‑case and may approve or decline at our discretion. Any approved change or cancellation before manufacturing may still incur administrative or other reasonable costs already incurred on your project.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only with written approval from Next Gen Creations. Cancellation fees may apply to cover manufacturing, materials, and administrative costs incurred up to the date of cancellation. If you default on payment or contract terms, Next Gen Creations may suspend or terminate the order and retain deposits as liquidated damages.

Contact us in writing (e.g., email to sales@nextgencreations.com.au) for approval. Late or overdue accounts may also incur interest and recovery costs as set out in your quote and invoice terms.

Deposits, Payments and Refunds

Orders over $20,000 (or as otherwise advised) require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable on or before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits contribute to the cost of custom manufacturing and project administration and are generally non‑refundable once manufacturing has commenced, except where a refund is required under the ACL.

Where a refund is required (for example, in the case of a major failure under the ACL), refunds will be processed to the original payment method where reasonably practicable. Refunds will not be provided for delays or issues caused by events outside our control, such as site not being ready, access issues, or other trades delaying installation, though additional charges may apply in those circumstances.

How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To request a refund, repair, replacement or order cancellation, please contact Next Gen Creations with your name, project address, quote or invoice number, details of the issue, and supporting photos if relevant. You can contact us at:

Claims will be assessed promptly in line with this policy, your signed quote terms and conditions, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
